1. The individual is extremely wealthy
2. The individual is dreaming or dead
3. The individual is not human
Today the reality of compete sustainable isolation isn't too radical a concept. A person living in an apartment could effectively live for years without any physical connection with nature, animal, or human being, and without having to ever exit the confines. This sustainable isolation promises us the security experienced only as a fetus developing in the womb, but in reality it drives us into insecurity and madness.

I disagree... I spend a lot of time in the house cause I hate people. I am nice to extrememe degrees somedays and people give me shit. I also have a bad back and want to ball my fist up and punch someone right in their eye when they act like just cause i don't go rock claiming with "friends" that I am not a "man" or "one with nature".... Everything comes from nature.... fuck them and the nay sayers... it'a all someone else bullshit vision of what is and what can be.... Most days I make like a asteroid could wipe us out in any 3 month period (true) and I get my enjoyment from my family and my computer and room.... Some of us do what the Egyptians didn't do till they were gonna die.... IN A ROOM WITH ALL OF OUR SHIT! Maybe we are them and this is their AFTERLIFE?
ReplyDeletePS I am actually planting a garden in my back yard and really looking forward to that experience... lots of connections to Egyptians if you think about it.... You can smell their spirits dancing in the smells of the flowers they were stuffed with if you pause long enough to not worry about how everyone else is living their life.....
Mr Quark, you need to re-visit the time you found joy in living, re-connect with the love in your heart. Smile brother. Dennis
DeleteYou make a compelling case Quark. I always appreciate the feedback.
