I Turn Black Keys

Peggy:  Your new art director has been waiting for synchronicity, which involves me coming up with a bunch of ideas, chasing him down and having him draw all of them and lose them.

Don:  He's your new art director, too, and you have a deadline.  And don't think you can spend Monday hiding behind corners and trying not to make eye contact.  I will find you.

Peggy:  I'm not the problem.

Don:  You are, because Stan is talented and more experienced.

“I’d been having great difficulty in finding out how to use color.  I’d been brought up on black and white movies and almost all the movies I had made until then were in black and white.  The two color movies I’d done, Stage Struck and The Group, had left me dissatisfied.  The color seemed fake.  The color seemed  to make the movies more unreal.

Why did black and white seem more real and color false?”
